i'm struggling a little bit with this book but overall i'm liking it. i think right now the west feels a lot more fleshed out and real and understood by the author, where the east feels like a puppet version of a japan or a china that feels lacking or almost sensationalized...? i overall don't feel as connected to tane or her plights as I do to ead or sabran. either way - this book is definitely good
