End of chapter 3, this one particularly confused me but it was good character developing lol

I’ve read this book 2 or 3 times before and I keep coming back to it. Not because it’s amazing, but because I had such a great time reading it the first time that I can’t stop going back to it. It’s familiar in a fucked up kinda way. (Yeah I’m reading another kidnapping book.)

I know I’m not at the next chapter yet but I have to talk about this entry. November 21st. It’s so unbelievably real and tragic. They’re going mad together, it’s an unspoken bond, and even though she wants to escape, she can’t bring him harm without regret. Entry made me feel disgusted and amazed. I can’t describe how this book makes me feel. It is so beautiful. Fallingly angelic.

I love the symbolism in this book; I can’t even analyze it all, there’s so much, but I love what I can glimpse of it

Chapter 2 done :) few thoughts on it; I’ve noticed something in the writing I strive to achieve and that is the description of physical happenings

I have to read this book for class so it’ll take a bit longer than I usually take for books :) pretty alright so far tho lol

This is so good omfg I’m mad that there’s a cliff hanger right here but it sure is a good way to get me to keep reading oml 😍😍✨💍

Okay I'm being honest, this book wasn't really my cup of tea for the first hundred pages but I'm beginning to feel like there's so much more here than meets the eye and i'm starting to enjoy it a lot more

Still kinda no plot but whatever, it’s good writing

Chapter 37 I will never forgive you for making such a serious scene so freakin funny

I wanna know why it was such a big deal that Cliff and Laura messed around together. It said previously and Travis and Laura cheated on each other ALL THE TIME. Why do it matter lmao

Chapter 31 I hate you, never again

Okay so I’m confused but slightly intrigued… main character still sucks ass, and his girlfriend, and all of his friends, but I actually kinda feel bad for the way Kyle and Emily’s relationship went; they seemed really super in love and happy together and then *spoiler alert* he got smashed and killed her in a car wreck; didn’t even care to stay with her, just ran off… that was really sad. I still hate Laura

Wow okay… so I can honestly say that all of the characters are poorly written. Main character is trying to be a better person but desperately failing. He’s honestly just terrible and I’m not rooting for him and this girl’s relationship whatsoever. Most of the women, I feel like they are just used as sex symbols and it’s really pissing me off lol I just hate reading badly written women, especially by cis-men

Good news : I've sustained myself for 64 more pages and the book has gained some plot.

Bad news : The plot sucks. Why did Cliff bang his stepmom? Why did Travis come back from Arizona? Why is the main character literally the most sucky person ever?

Like what is going on. I don't want to read this. I'm reading this against my own will. Lord help me, this is so uncomfortable to read.

OMFG?!?!! While I told myself 30 minutes of reading, 2 hours went by and I’m so in love, literally this book should marry me. So excited to finish!!!!!!

it's going pretty good <3 very fanfiction-y, which i honestly dont know if i like or not, but i'm trying it out lol

I’m in the middle of a chapter but honestly I feel like the character is lacking. She is too angry about everything, I get that you’re gonna die soon but girly you literally gotta stop and think. She just lacks sustenance and consistency. One minute she’s angry at the Capitol for televising everything and the next she’s playing into the show? Like idk what’s going on but I don’t like it much thank you

It’s going alright; I’m struggling to get into it but I’ve seen the movies and liked them so?? Maybe it’ll just take a bit <3

God DAMN this book is good. It’s gory, it’s romantic, it’s back stabbing, it’s disgustingly amazing, omfgggg 😍💍

It’s been rly good!!! The beginning was a bit confusing to start understanding the rules of the society but I assume it’ll reveal itself as we go on :D
