Just love how Macy instantly sees that there’s something going on between Grace and Jaxon. Especially after that „Falling out of a tree“-situation.

Chapter 20:
Witnessing the snowballfight, which is almost ending „in World War III“, after Grace falls off a tree (like 20m high), only for Flint to jump after her and somehow manages to turn them both so he hits the ground first, only then for Jaxon to show up and accuse Flint for endangering her. I swear the tension even I felt. What the hell is happening

Jace having nightmares about stabbing Clary to death (wonder where that’s coming from).

Simon meeting up with Raphael of all vampires (?) to ask if the memory erasing towards his mother can be undone. And to ask if he can stay at the Dumort. Raphael declining. Ohh boy Simon is so going to work with Camille

Chapter3:
Jace and Clary qualitytiming whilest training. Jace being weird (probably bc he was dead). Jocelyn disliking him apparently very much.

Simon’s mum finding out about him being a vampire and having a full on tandrum (being all „you’re not my son“), and Simon hypnotising her into that it was all a dream. We’ll see how long lasting that’s going to be

Chapter 16:
Some pieces falling together finally.
Soo, we know that Lias dead boyfriend (Hudson) is also Jaxons Brother. We know that Jaxon is infuriated that Grace is befriending Flint („a dra…“ - as in dragon). And that Lia and Jaxon both are in no need to wear Jackets in frozen ass Alaska.

Chapter 1:
Simon apparently dating two girls (Izzy and Maja). And even he does not know how that happened.
He also gets summoned by the vampire master of Brooklyn (or rather its two supchickets), so Simon ofc thinks it’s Raphael, only to find out that it’s actually Camille. She wants his help by overthrowing Raphael who repressed her and then told lies about her not being in New York.

Finale (Chp. 20 and Epilogue)
Will Kissing Tessa, only to be shitty to her once again. This boy has some serious trust issues or I don’t know, just something.
Jem being the caring and supportive one, trying to comfort Tessa (who is unsure about her identity and the warlock thing).
Cliffhanger with Will showing up at Magnus‘ and claiming Magnus is the only one who can help with a problem he has?

While Grace is wandering through the castle at night she gets to know two murderous (probably werewolf) boys. Jaxon saving the day (aka Grace) and being extraordinarily weird when licking off her blood from his finger. Is he, like, a vampire or something?

Uhhiuiui, the badboy has a badboy name which happens to be Jaxon Vega.

Chapter 19:
Not Jasmine saving the day (Tessa) only to fuck it up again only 5 minutes later (letting Mortmaine in the sanctuary).

Thomas quite dead.

Tessa supposedly dead, only for Will to find her in a lot of blood and then being shocked for dear life when she wakes up (not dead at all). Turns out she had a bright moment, changed into someone else (who’s bloody) to delude Mortmaine into thinking she’s dead

Chapter 18:
Oh we are so fucked.
Nate ofc actually working for the magister. And the Magister being Mortmaine (which we know as human businessman), and not Dequincy.
Will and Jem nowhere in sight cause they went after the Darksisters (the one remaining sister, cause one of em is dead, but they got fooled by mortmaine who loured them away)

Only 15 minutes after walking into Kadmere Academy Grace gets encountered by a mysterious (obv. extremely hot but cold looking guy) who tells here she should leave and warns her about how she should watch her back if not.

And after only 30 minutes she’s got the feeling of being watched. Which could be a good thing or a bad thing (depending if someone tries to protect her or wants to harm her). We will see

Chapter 17:
Well that is not suspicious at all. Nate being irritated by the news that Jem and Will will be staying at the institute whilest the onclave is hunting down Dequincy at his Manchester mansion.
I think my previous feeling of Nate seeming a bit off, might manifest now.

Laurie konfrontiert ihre Eltern mit der Wahrheit. Turns out it actually ist die Wahrheit.

Laurie schmeißt n Nervenzusammenbruch. Sam hört sie brabbeln und erfährt, dass sie Austin’s Schwester ist.

Sam seriously pissed

Stupid Nathanael, why would he run away that ungrateful idiot? He will get everyone killed, my nerves cannot take that unnecessary shit

Chapter 15:
Jem telling Tessa that he’s actually addicted to demon blood, without it he would die instantly and by taking it it kills him slowly. And that he first got incected with it whilest being tortured by some demon who had a grudge on his mother.

Wie heftig überkitschig das alles ist. Alles einfach rosarot und perfekt. Warte auf jeder Seite auf die große Wahrheitsbombe, die alles (zumindest für kurze Zeit) zwischen den beiden zerstört.

Chapter 14:
Not Jem showing Tessa his favourite spot to dwell on his thoughts and them being ambushed there by the clockwork coachman and one companion, which want to deliver the message of war and kidnap Tessa. Jem fighting them off, only for more clockwork creatures to come 😭
Poor Jem, he seems so fragile. I can’t

Chapter 12
Nathaniel save and sound at the institute but still sick, and pretty much human, if one trusts the word of brother Emoch.

First and very short Bussi between Will and Tessa. Ended roughly by Will throwing Tessa out. He was feverish from the vampire blood though, but still pretty rude.

Auf die Gefahr hin mich zu wiederholen. Aber die damalige Situation aus Sams Perspektive zu hören ist eher passiert als ich darauf vorbereitet war. Glaube Laurie ging’s ähnlich. Wobei der Fakt dass er zum Alkohol auch Drogen genommen hat doch eher überraschend kam.

Wow, dafür dass sie ihn meiden wollte, ist Laurie in bemerkenswert kurzer Zeit zum zweiten Mal „schwach“ geworden (diesmal nach seiner Lesung)

Invading Dequincys Vampire Party (with Tessa in skin of Camille) didn’t went as planned. There was a fight between the Vampires and Shadowhunters, but Dequincy could flee. They found Nathaniel (who would’ve been killed by the vamps) and Will bit Dequincy before he fled. And that is now somehow a problem…

Ok. So Will, Jem and Tessa barging into the onclave meeting, where we find out that Gabriele Lightwood has some sort of grudge with Will (bc of sth that happend last Christmas?)

Not Magnus Bane being casually mentioned as Camilles lover 😂 who’s going to guide them in and through Vampire „who’s name I forgot“ house party.
