This book made me laugh. I can count on on one hand how many books that have made me laugh more than just blowing air out of my nose.

You know when you start a book and you think “oh poop, this one got too real too fast and I know I’m just going to wallow in its relatability?” Yeah I haven’t even checked this book out of the library yet (support your local libraries folks)

Started reading this a couple days ago, it’s very slow paced. Interesting, but I am not crazy about the writing. Also the fact that he makes less experienced cops uncomfortable by showing them some very gruesome (but very real and medically necessary) stuff??? I started this because it was suggested under legal books and I was curious about what happens with the ME office.

I knew that lady was shady like I couldn’t trust her through the whole book and this is why

History hates lovers

I’m getting somewhat dubious vibes from this book, like they are dumbing the history down for comedic effect at the expense of quality historical analysis. This is a “short” history but I still expect some sources.

I have suspicions and they aren’t good ones
