Definitely picking up…

Listening to this is way easier but the chick reading is v. bad. But still better than trying to also read a 1,500+ page fanfic. I might skip back and forth between reading and listening but so far reading is giving me the progress I’m looking for.

Story-wise, I’m starting to understand the emotional ties I will have to these characters. These boys are SO SWEET to each other. I love it.

This is def taking a WHILE to get going. Praying I have the patience.

any series in which *every* book wins the hugo award in successive years deserves a shot.

I have had a weird sense of dread throughout this whole book. I like too many of the characters. My heart is going to break I just know it.

Manon’s POV chapters continue to be undefeated

Ok but seriously, I’m finding myself looking forward to switching back to ToD!

I don’t for a SECOND believe Lorcan is uninterested lol

I find myself eager for Manon chapters over all others.

After a long two day tourney, this has been nice to return to. I guess I was expecting this ToD storyline to be boring or something but it’s not boring at all. MAAAAAAYBE that’s the magic of the tandem read??

Tandem reading is going just fine. I can see why this is the suggested method. EoS is just a way more exciting storyline. But ToD seems very important to the overall plot.

The ending of chapter 65 is borderline unforgivable.

I’m just throughly enjoying this.
