Odd that I’m on pg 464 but it’s saying that’s 100% when it’s not… but oh well, I can do normal math. 90% marker

Now this is what I was missing from book 1. The ground work is now playing out. S*** is going down! Thankfully, all of it began to go to hell while I was on my 21k race today. Made the 4.75hr run not feel like complete hell

Ugh.. I hope I don’t have DNF this. I’m just getting bored and I’m having a hard time bonding with the characters.

I hate that this is slowly getting boring… a part of me is like “I don’t really care about the characters.”
I like the idea of the story but this middle-ish part is taking too long.

Yknow, I had the same feeling about Beyond the Walking Dead. It was cool at first to see how society fell (we aren’t there yet in this book) but the lead up to it is dragging…

Oh they’re cooking… just letting CL Clark cook even longer.

When traffic is ass, you pop on an audiobook that is cooking!

It feels like we’re moving so fast. But I swear, the songs do not need to be this long….

But also, I feel like my annoyance will bite me in the butt and I’ll find out that these songs were important. But until then… *flips to next page when the song ends*

This book has put me in a queer mood. Just listening to at work makes me smile queerly. If you believe listening to this at work was queerly enjoyable then brace yourself for 1h 30m queer drives home.

Tolkien…please. I need another word than queer every other 5 minutes in the audiobook.

I’ve heard this is a good book series. Might as well give it a shot.
