They left Dunne Island without investigating further? Well, I can say that the next book may bring them back. I currently have about 20 thousand theories in my head, but I'm slowly discarding them 🙂‍↕️

I am increasingly convinced that the real animals are the Italian mafia. I have read in history their way of thinking about bravat and I think they are somewhat far from reality.
