Finding this a tricky audio book to listen to. The diary entries are sometimes perfunctory and without more context a bit meaningless. The narrator does not conjure Alan Rickman’s tone. I don’t expect a mimic of his voice but at least a passing resemblance of his delivery. I’m sure he’s a fine narrator but it’s a bit too Alan Bennett for my liking.
