I re-read the 2nd book and then went on to read the third too, and I felt bad for this one, so now i'm re-reading this even though I have a large stack o books from the library I need to read before they're due back . . .

I don't really like Kitt...

Jacks. Oh, Jacks. He's just hiding in the shadows, but then just helps her. Saves her from drowning. Leaves. Wow.

Uh.... is it wrong to literally be in love with Jacks? (someone help his apple addiction)

I know who Jacks is, but I'm a literal hopeless romantic and the whole sitting with her like that while the antidote worked though was sweet. I don't care what his motives actually were lol.

I was not ready for Scarlet and Donatella to have a cameo for some reason, but I was way too excited over that. Also, my goodness, Jacks and his apples!

I'm really struggling to read this...
It's giving me so many reminders from other books like Hunger Games. A friend told me it also really copies off of Red Queen. But I'm trying to do this...

I feel like I'm going to finish this book, or it's going to finish me. Just going to have to see what happens I guess...
