This just went from 0 to insane in a handful of pages.

The author has an annoying way of going into great detail about stuff he clearly has no knowledge of and doesn’t care to get fact checked. Here he is under the impression that the way you can tell an automatic watch movement is really high end is that the second hand lands exactly on the indices with each beat. Anyone with even the most passing interest in watches will know this is just not correct.

This is starting to reach Matthew Reilly like levels of silly. Very much unlike the previous books. Still fun to read but the plot is honestly pretty ridiculous.
