So many absolutely unlikable characters, it’s like watching a trainwreck in slow motion. Love the Brontë sisters, everything I’ve read from them is crazy and feels way ahead of it’s time for the 1840’s. Heathcliff and Catherine have the same kind of awful relationship you get with Scarlett in Gone With The Wind, hate everything about it but you have to see it through to it’s awful conclusion. 5 stars.

Amazing guy, book is written like he’s having a conversation with you. Died recently at 102 and I’m lucky enough to have a signed copy, reminds me of Eddie Rickenbackers story.

Heinlein is a really interesting/weird sci-fi writer. The premise of the book is great, getting to know the characters and how they play out is great, everything in between has a fun mix of humor, futuristic tech stuff, and well thought out historical references/future predictions. I don’t think I’ll ever get over how he writes women in his books tho, has an overarchingly low view and it gets old REALLY quick.

Planning to finish up by the end of the week, top 5 book ever.
