every time i think the book's reached its peak of weirdness it ramps it up even further. it's a psychosexual fever dream that's in a state of perpetual pre-climax and i still don't know what to make of it.

absolutely insane — takes a lot of effort to read (her prose can be very tiring at times with its density) but it's so worth every bit of mental exertion. i'm glad i'm reading this bit-by-bit for class.
