I didn’t read the review first and now I’m scared. I thought I would give this author another try after I read Sanctuary of Shadows. I didn’t care for the writing style in that book and this is starting to feel the same. I will give it to 30% , if I don’t like it then I’ll dnf the book.

This book just jumped right into action. I hope she explains things later because their was only a sliver of pretense.
