Tiktok made me believe that this series is high stakes and has actual plot. I guess I was fooled because there is literally no plot. At first I thought it would be about Devlin but nopeeee.

Like 80% of the smut in this book is with her being actually unwilling to have sex with him. That's not even dubious consent anymore. It just annoys the fuck out of me because there is so much smut but it's all the same. Killian basically has no personality outside of fucking and it shows.

I'm almost 100 pages in and so far I don't get the hype. Glyndon and Killian have no chemistry, he has no personality and all he does is rape her and I feel like the author is trying to convince me otherwise or make me like it.

This whole Sex slave rape thing has me vomiting into my own mouth every time James appears or there is a flashback.
