seeing a bad review for a book you love is so personal

it’s so incredibly frustrating when people belittle you for trying to decipher a plot line in a book that isn’t really talked about much. like saying “isn’t it obvious?!” is so rude to me lol not everyone thinks about things they read in the same manner
