I like this book so far, I really do, but Lucinda, we need to have a serious talk. How are you going to write a book with dual timelines, but not distinguish the past and the present well enough? I’m literally confused half the time bc in one paragraph I’m in the present then the next paragraph it’s a flashback to the past??

I have so many thoughts, but I feel like there’s more to this story before I can form my opinion 😅

I hope that Knox ends up having a whole 360 character development because he’s such an asshole with the nastiest mouth of a sailor. man’s needa crash course on how to treat people with respect despite whatever immensely dark trauma he’s carrying around
