Ok. I'll be honest. I've read unlikeable characters before... but they were complex! They had other virtues and characteristics to them other than being unlikeable. But the protagonist in this book is just want to make you miserable while reading. "She's torturing people! She's depressed and she's torturing people who have lives because others don't have the privilige to shut themselves for a year!"
