The romance is awful and I hate it, their relationship really has the potential to be beautiful but the pacing of the chemistry is wack and so badly written.

I've had suspicions about Spencer's mother since the first book, I feel like the reason she keeps insisting on knowing Spencer's location is so she can tell Anthony and now with the glimpse we got into their first meeting I feel like her first exhibition was some kind of auction and her mother is in on it, that's why there were only women at the exhibition. She put Spencer up for sale.

The drugs probably regressed her memories or something, maybe they were trying to rewrite her memories or something fucked up

Something's not adding up, Phoenix said he was married to his wife for three and a half years and right now it's obvious that McKenzie is his wife. According to her she was twenty three when her dad took her to the auction and she was kidnapped when she was twenty three. So if she was kidnapped within a year how is he married to her for three and a half years??? Did they have a secret relationship before that?? (1/2)
