I am only four chapters in, and I'm cementing myself as a Talia Hibbert fan always & forever.

It’s the writing I don’t like. I’m biased against first-person but even so the book reads like “I went to the store. I bought a fish” rather than telling a story. But I still gotta see it through

Chapter 8 and still nothing! I’ve enjoyed nothing so far, but just trying to see the book through 😞
