US has evolved its stance towards immigration through the years. From strong xenophobic European centric only stance to a more enlightened stance through years of political battles, humanitarian liberal views of helping people in need and competing view points.

Enjoyed a great Book talk and signing event last by author Nathaniel Philbrick on his new book Valiant Ambition in Cleveland. Phillbrick was a charismatic speaker that truly conveyed his passion for sharing the joy of history with is audience. It was a great event.
