im so confused. he rejects the idea that there is an objective basis for morality and therefore argues for discarding normative moral judgements but then immediately engages in normative theorising. like surely if u believe that the arbitrariness of morality renders it null& void then there is no standpoint from which to critique christianity for subduing the strong or argue that society ought to be hierarchical etc
