HUH !!?!!!!!!

Knowing that the author was planning to end the series after book 3, I’m SO nervous to read this one and the last two after it. There’s so many directions she could take this series and so many ways to potentially ruin it 😭 Maybe if I hate them I’ll convince myself these last 3 books aren’t cannon.. we will see..

I adore Adam and Kenji and Juliette so much, what a trio (even if Kenji is kind of a brat) 😭 (also Warner my lil delusional son 🥰)

I don’t get emotional about fictional plot points often but SO many people are failing this girl who are supposed to be helping her and I’m so genuinely mad at all of them 😭

Man these resistance leaders really could not care less that our girl has such an intense level of trauma ! Like in trying to make the world better they forgot about mental healthcare 😭

I’m not sure whether I love Adam or Warner more. Maybe both.

I feel like basically none of the conflict in this book would be conflict if Violet would just be even slightly less stubborn. The only person I even remotely like is Xaden and he’s barely ever here 😭
