Mark is starting The Gunslinger (The Dark Tower, #1)

I just purchased the entire Dark Tower series from Amazon here in Japan for about $35. Nice. I have Read everything by Stephen King except the DT series. Now that it's complete I have decided to give it another try. I read The Gunslinger YEARS ago when it first came out and was confused by it. I hope I can get into the storyline and enjoy the work before the Mini Series comes out.
