Enjoying the new races and how the Mc was getting water tortured. Showing some darker tones with the fight with the mercenaries and the culture agent being killed while being not that bad of a person. Just dipped my toe in but I’m already enjoying the tone

I write these words in steel for I cannot speak them aloud.

What a series. Ending didn’t disappoint. Some hard ends to characters that I adore and some surprises I didn’t see coming. Everything about this series is top class and am excited to get into warbreaker.

Glad I finally read this trilogy and will treasure this with the rest of the best-brightest-and the few

Sazed and his struggle with faith and desperately finding truth within his metal minds is hard. He was the rock in the series and seeing him struggle is hard. Hemalurgy is very interesting and am interested to learn more about how spikes are placed and why people react to being impaled. Tensoon coming back to vin will be exciting to see. All characters are struggling against massive odds

Seeing these characters grow into this final act hits hard. I don’t want this to end but I have no doubt that Sanderson will complete this with a bang. It’s so much darker than stormlight and it really impacts this story with so little hope. After this I’m considering getting a allomancy tattoo. Still wondering which one I should get?

Just dipped my toe in this one but already excited. Bringing the steel inquisitors back to the forefront is great and also seeing a little bit of how they are created. Marshes story is tragic and am hoping he breaks ruin’s hold. Also Electra or whatever it’s called?? Wonder what other magic metals are going to appear in this one

Very much enjoying this one. A step up from the last and the politics are excellent. Characters keep developing with some underdogs coming to shine that I didn’t expect. Elend is coming to be my favorite with his struggles being a king

Felt right back home with these characters. Sanderson does well in expanding the magic to keep me guessing and also adding new depth to characters that seemed emotionless (talking dog). Also enjoyed another terrismen in the mix, Sazed is my favorite side character in the first book so seeing one mentor Elend to become a true king has me excited. What could be in the mist?

Great characters in this one with some consequences for there actions. Good example of this is Kelsier. Very head strong and this backfires on him multiple times which I believe is great. I hope he doesn’t fall like the Lord Ruler did to become the hero of ages. Vin is so reserved and complicated. Love how her brother never actually left her head despite the great leaps she’s taken as a character. The end is near

Heard nothing but praise about this series and I’ve finally decided to read the final empire. Sadly I only have the series in mass market paper back which is not my preference but I believe this story is worth starting.

The Stormlight Achieve is my gateway to the Lord Ruler and I was nervous nothing else could match the depth in that series.

So far, after just a sliver it’s on par with storm lights characters.

Very melancholy with Jim and the crew. Not that that’s a bad thing but the nostalgia of the old crew and how they used to interact has me longing for the consequences in the last book to disappear. But I understand that these characters have come so far and will be changed forever. Great writing on their part. Still hoping Miller contacts one of the kids or Amos through the protomolecule but we will see.

Some absolute guy punches these last couple 100 pages. The tension is cranked up to 11 with overwhelming odds, life threatening consequences, and a slight glimmer of hope. Characters development in this book keeps advancing when I thought it already reached its peak. One such character I’ve loved since the beginning finally had his recklessness catch up to him and it made me put the book down a bit. Onto the finale

Enjoying more snippets of the “beings” that killed the protomolecule’s creators. Also, enjoy the faults that are showing up in the Laconian empire.
