Is using eye color for foreshadowing called eyeshadowing? I can't confirm this is happening, but I suspect eyeshadowing.

Finished "Book One". As fun as this book is, it could have ended there. Maybe the second half will grab me later, but so far, it's just more of the same.

I'm picturing the rooster from Robin Hood singing, "nobody knows the troubles I've seen. Nobody knows my sorrows." I think that rooster was a gypsy, so I may have misunderstood the song until now.

This is the only thing I've ever read that feels like a Robert Rankin book, aside from Rankin's books, obviously.

It's a quick read.

Been a while since I read a book with the word Décolletage. Maybe I'm five on the inside but it always makes me smirk.

I like seeing the monster in the humans and the humanity in the monsters.

I set the book down 10 minutes ago and I've already forgotten the MC's name. I'm not connecting with her yet, but I'd like to see an updraft movie. The bone towers and flying are great visuals.

The narration and production of this Audio book is excellent, but I hope things start to click for me soon. I'm completely lost.
