As much as I loved SOTR it put me in such a major reading slump for some reason??? Maybe because it’s the first non classic / academic book I have read in a while now trying to read Austen feels like a chore. I zoomed through it so quickly as well it was literally 500 pages in one day and now I’m struggling to get through 10 chapters of emma 💔 GET YOUR HEAD IN THE GAME LUCIE

Im absolutely eating this up I can’t believe im reading it so quick
Then again all I’ve been reading recently is Middle English Arthurian shite so it’s nice to read like proper normal book for once

Guys I promise I am reading but I’m halfway through about 17 different books for uni and I can’t put them on here because I don’t intend to finish them for a while yet (like I just finished the book of job but I don’t want to put the entire bible into my “currently reading” because it’s gonna sit there for years and I’m not actually reading the whole bible im just doing sections ya feel me)

I actually can’t believe I’m about to finally finish this
It’s been so long and difficult icl
I know literally nothing about Greek mythology and Greek heroes and the Trojan war
I think I probably should’ve researched before so that this wasn’t how I found out about all tjis stuff
The amount of googling and stuff probably didn’t help with how long it took me… whatever
