ordered the Book of the Month copy to get this early

i’m more invested in the group and the story after the ball

I like the book and concept but for me it’s not ‘landing’ or ‘sticking’ currently. I like that we get the different POVs but toward the beginning it was a bit harder for me to follow because I didn’t have that character base to really build this world on. I do love a dark academia book.
