yum yum, looks like its gonna be very think-piece-y. writing seems very good far

it got cute for a tiny chapter, then went back to being boring and mediocre. i think it’d like this a lot more if it was focused on iris and the protagonist just having fun doing stuff, but this thing seems like it can’t choose what it wants to be. on one page its gory and horrific, then on the other it goes back to bright being a weird creep

still very bad. one of the brief side characters i got attached and sympathized with more than i did the main character. i literally only knew her for like 10 pages. what a book

i dont know why im reading this. its so awful at certain parts. bright is borderline p*dophil*ic by making really weird comments. the writing itself is still very meh and the characters are still very uncompelling.

i was originally going to make this 2 stars because of the bland writing and uncompelling characters, but its down to 1 now that bright’s here (i dont hate bright themself, just this iteration of him.)

still disappointing, theres so much exposition and it all feels like a bunch of filler that leads to nothing,, the protagonist is a blank vessel and i cant connect to him at all

pretty disappointing so far,, not a very big fan of the boatload of exposition that is the first chapter
