Gee this is hard to get through, many boring talking bits full of info dumps about magic and politics. I just dont care about pushing and pulling, internal and external burning and metal sense lengths, its like frills on spiderwebs.

well written and narrated, but oh so boring, might pause this one for a while.

i errr think i still know what's going on. pirates attacked earth boys, aliens want iron, hero and friends taken by alien fishes to their planet, hero and friends stole a sub when the alien shallow fishes had a battle with alien deep fishes. but the sub/ship is a bit worse for wear.

Almost dnf’d. I don’t care about Vin’s dancing escapades, nore the political boring bits of this book.
