Brilliant book. You have got to read it, inspirational to all women, informative to all - ever heard of FGM? Here's the gruesome and challenging information in reality and but it doesn't dwell on it. Never heard of Female Genital Mutilation? well you should have, at this time of a battle for women's rights - find out about what the majority of women in North Africa still experience.

This is brilliant. Everyone should read it. I keep telling people about things I have read in it. Sleep is so important!

What a classic. So much said in so little words, clever and imaginative. So taut and on edge. I am drinking it in and once I have read it I will be fascinated to find out how Ms Atwood got this vision.

Fascinating concept. What trees all of a sudden burst out of the ground, disrupting & ruining power sources & communication, blocking roads & damaging buildings. No internet, no telephones, no transport. Only nature and humans....and well there are hints at more...a unicorn for starters. One character Adrian riles against it resentful. Another, Hannah embraces it, welcoming the chance for a new start!

I am eating this book - coming from the same part of the country and being the same age as Chris B I can picture so much of what he describes. As a follower of ITV Cycling I can almost hear his voice reading it to me!

a jolly good read - Philippa Gregory always manages to bring what could be a boring subject to life - has she over embroidered it?

Not as good as Life after life - a bit all over the place going back and forwards through main characters life but still enjoyable.

Fascinating fictional account of life of Cicero told through eyes of his slave Tiro. So informative about the Roman empire and as the title of the book hints the one who comes to rule it all. Quality writing. I want to know more about the Empire.

I do like a good Robert Harris novel. I've promised myself I'm not going to rush this one or skim it but enjoy it like a good cup of tea and hot crumpets with jam on them.

A bit of a slow burner at the beginning. It's starting to hot up but not really on the same level as it's predecessor.

Reading slowed down - possibly because I'm reading another book at the same time? Still good writing though. Oh for more time to read.
