Pretty good! I have read the Delaware series but I might check these out in the future. Less dark than Delaware

This book is terrible or hasn’t aged well. I don’t care enough to find out. I was excited to read a book about Mt Pleasant, Shem Creek- beautiful memories of that area but this book was not enjoyable. At all. First there’s the exclamation point conversation that Linda has. Clearly she’s the heroine and you are supposed to root that she ends up with Brad but Brad is boorish and boring and she’s just rude.

I hate this book. I had such high hopes and I honestly used to love Stanley Gucci’s public persona. Now I just see an entitled a-hole. Reading for a book club. Do yourself a favor and stop reading after he name drop Massimo. It doesn’t get better
