Bought the book because I love the podcast. I think the stories are better read to than just read. Picking up when I want to read without getting too invested in a story!

Just as funny and heartbreaking as I remember. Forgot about Oscar’s 11-year pity party, but played alongside such deep-rooted trauma, it’s understandable how his adolescence was filled with nothing but turmoil.

“She laughed for his sake, something she’d never done. Giving away another piece of herself just to have someone else.”
