It’s pretty unsettling so far. The build up is slow but the end of the chapters are so creepy

There’s still so many weird and creepy things happening around the house but the characters are pretending like nothing is even wrong.

Reading Eleanor’s intrusive thoughts takes away from the creepiness, but it adds a quick comedic moment.

They’re so in denial about the things they’re experiencing…. Theodora and Eleanor are always cracking jokes in the most unsettling times that it makes ME doubt what I’m reading

I feel like a lot of them are making excuses for the house and using science to explain the phenomenon that happens around the house.

For people who are scared, they joke a lot

Th house seems creepy and the Dudley’s seems upset that they’re even there. The doctor just dropped some info on them and I wonder if they’re gonna try to leave the house.

Someone’s hiding something that’s going to get brought up this trip. Weird and creepy stuff is already happening
