So close to being done (Hopefully????) but Mia's stupidity/ nativity is grating.

When you read a book and think, “Hm…I’ve heard this character’s name before. Why do they seem familiar?”.

Then Corvin enters the picture and…”Crap! I just read book 6 a week ago. This is book 1!”

Commence facepalming!🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

What this book has taught me so far:

1) Middle aged men have no jobs.

2) They sit around and check Facebook all day to see if women comment on lastnight’s activities.

3) Everyone in Georgia, USA, is secretly British but doesn’t know it.

4) The word “Screw” can be used 280 times in a book and become more annoying each time.

I’m not usually a fan of Epic-Lets-Go-A-Questing Fantasy but I’m enjoying this. keep reading Fitch’s parts in Sheogorath (The Elder Scrolls pc games) and I giggle.

Some of the names in this book crack me up.

Characters with color changing hair are confising

Had to stop but may restart later. Just not feeling it

I really wish this author would italicize the thoughts of characters. It is hard to distinguish thoughts from narrative.

Cool book so far. Could It be that I’ve found s book with a plot AND character development?? Time will tell!
