I can't tell if there is a point to the story. Am I supposed to sympathize with an assaulter? No matter how many times they replay the same story line of Noah being this "perfect" son and stand up citizen, I won't easily forget what he did to those poor girls. I am 100% on the father's side. Especially since Noah's younger sister is around the same age.

The mom is aggravating when she tries to paint Noah as a victim as well. Implying that he was hurt just as much as the girls he hurt. My heart goes out to her in a way because I can't imagine having to learn how to cope with the fact that her first born is a monster. I am seeing a lot of similarities between life for the family and their son while he is in the rehabilitation center. Very hard read!

The mom is delusional. She can't grasp the concept that HER kid is the monster. Suggesting that his offense was minor (no pun intended) compared to what it "could have been"... oh brother...

Olive is so complex. Something about her makes me love her but also want to stay far away from her!

ngl i thought this book was gonna be cool, calm, and collected.

I just finished the first story of this collection.

I am unsure of my feelings of the book. I feel gross and disgusted by the gore and feel like some of it was very unessarcy to the actual plot and didn't really help develop much of the story, but it was also a fasinating read and I couldn't put it down once.

So little dog and trevor WERE a couple.

To be honest, peabrain is a little confused if Little Dog is gay and Trevor and him are lovers or if he is just being super descriptive about Trevor? Either way Little Dog is gay. I love this subplot because it doesn't change the whole point of the story. Little pieces of his identity don't change his story.
