There’s just so much Henrietta’s story that I was unaware of. Much of it makes me enraged.

I’ve really appreciated how Skloot is able to capture the essence and culture of Henrietta’s family so far in the story.

I’m also frustrated at how Henrietta was taken advantage of because of her lack of education. It’s baffling how no one thought listening to patients or explaining their conditions was helpful.
