no way this book just emotionally wrecked me with a murder montage that then ended with “which is what i thought of doing.” That was intense and unfair and I require therapy now 😭

uh this is the best book in the series, hands down. i’ve literally read more thank half of this book in one sitting.

omg this book is so good and interesting! not them having to pretend to be married, joining a circus, and them having to do the knife act at the circus (he throws knives at her as she spins strapped to a board. this is so good im literally loving it

homegirl might just be the worst main character i’ve ever read, truly psychotic. i’m literally on the edge of my seat to see how this one ends

if you’re looking for a slow burn romance with tension (and a little bit of murder), you NEED to read this book right now, the tension in this book is so much i almost cant stand it 😶‍🌫️🥴

“How would you know I was watching you unless you were watching me?” I shoot back. We’re at a red light so I can look over. His face twitches, and he works his jaw before replying, “Guess we’re just always watching each other.”

yall ever read a book so good, that it makes you a little depressed? like, this book is so good and Wes is actually perfect. i’m so sad that men like him don’t exist in real life

i really love it when female narrators can do an actual good voice for the men, some of them are sooo bad it takes me out the story. the narrator on this one is soooo good
