It has become a slog. I try to read a chapter every day and thankfully they are typically short, but it is SO tedious I can hardly stand it at times. There appears to be several stories buried in there, and I am determined to find out if any of them are actually completed, no matter the psychic pain I am experiencing as I do.

Don't know if I will finish. Tediously long, drawn out descriptions of unremarkable stuff, horrible metaphors with no meaning, e.g. "She surveyed the crowd and wondered what she was doing in a place that resembled a page out of a ten-year-old JCPenney catalog." Scrambled text, misspelled words, misused words. Like there was no editor, no proofreading. Highly annoying, makes it hard to focus on the story, characters.
