First story was cute, nice take on trust and jealousy, but the cliche girl enemy made me sad.

2nd story started in a boring way, but it turned all cutesy and full of feelings, plus some ideas about traditional roles, communication in relationships and all that.

The third story was funny and emotional and silly and I think I am really into historical romance set in the regency period. Oh, dear, I am enjoying romance.

Oh the second story was so much fun and so sweet! I can't believe how much I enjoyed it!

I think I prefer 3 longer stories instead of 6 in these anthologies. First story: it was really nice, but some things bothered me (like the guy liking the girl's interest in politics when she was only interested in that because she did not want him to like her but for some reason that became reality.. like, what? author, details!!)

Finished! Will write review when I get to my pc.

I really hope there is something good in this, because so far it's rather simple and full of cliche, the third girl and cat-fighty vibe puts me off completely. Plus perfect characters. There is some harsh past to go into, but the book focuses on simplistic love and overused conflicts.

We all love The Raven but I did not enjoy it in this one, it missed the thing, you know? Also, what's with all the ladies having ginormous boobs?

The Oval Portrait was really nice.

The main character is SO annoying and it feels like it's not intentional or anything.

It's a superficial book that uses simple things and pretends they are the deepest most complex concepts ever. Mom, why do you like this guy's books?

Is everyone an anti-hero in this book?
