Love it! Such a fun, easy read that leaves me constantly curious. I’m conflicted about Max though. Part of me loves him and the other part sees so many red flags.

Took a few chapters to get hooked, but now I can’t stop!

Off to a good start!

The Pursuit of Pleasure was difficult to say the least. Maybe this is because of my own spiritual discomfort with allowing myself to experience pleasure, or maybe it’s because she spent so much time delving into the history of Roman structures. As I’m nearing the end of The Pursuit of Devotion, I’m relieved to have some perspective I didn’t already have. I will continue with great anticipation for Indonesia.
