Thank you Netgalley for the ARC of The Fireborne Blade, coming out at the end of May.

For me, this was kind of a miss. It tried a lot in just under 200 pages. The switching between the actual story and then some history lessons really didn’t work for me. The writing had lots of potential though. The ending was definitely promising, but a great finale doesn’t make a great book if all that came before was boring.
