This book is as enthralling and easy to read as it was the first time

Ahhh I can’t wait to find out the full scope of his motivations (hopefully in the next book) because he really doesn’t seem like a bad guy and he’s so clear about not trying to convince her to trust him. He’s not manipulating her.
He’s honest that he has a motive and that’s what he is after nothing else. Or is there something else?

They are so close to something real but not quite there
