Pat mills retconning of the abc warriors histories are some of the best abc stories I've ever read, and Clint Langley drawing instead of painting is sublime.

In the 1st story the doctor is kind of like window dressing & rose takes the lead a lot, she’s his equal, it’s pretty cool

Weird that on the cover we see the doctor in his new apparel and haircut but in the first story the great war he’s rocking his original outfit, great story so far though.

Stunning black and white art work by Clint Langley, and as usual pat mills knocks it out the park story wise as we finally find out after all these years just what did happen to happy shrapnel?

The 5th doctor’s return to the web planet is whimsically cool

Man this is deep, pat mills giving us Hammerstein's back story post abc warriors(the 1st time around) and pre ro-busters. Relevant and great story by mr. mills and art by Clint Langley (he's just awesome) this is the first story after the volgan war as the warriors rebuild their ranks after the lose of black blood and mekquake, the war mek's reminisce past defining adventure's and Hammerstein's is a doozy!

Worth the price of admission and as good as the early adventures (which are really good) The first story features the Doctor Barbara Ian and Susan dealing with a threat from the doctors past for the first time!
