This chapter, focusing on the creation of “religion”, was wholly fascinating to me. It’s as recent as the early 1800’s that you see Christians looking at folks that believe differently than them and giving them names for that belief and creating a sacred secular divide in their worldview, highlighted with Jews in Germany and Hindus in India. A little metaphysical and ontological but brilliant nonetheless.
