Okay, so the set up of the plot so far, and some of the scenes, are pretty steamy and I love the premise of a “good girl” getting sex lessons, buuuut, the female narrator is kinda ruining it for me. She’s making all the male characters sound… juvenile 🥴. Not sexy. The MALE narrator on the other hand… whew! 🔥

Oof, I already feel tension and angst brewing just for the sake of being angsty, and I’m not feeling this book as much (I think a good portion is also the male narrator; he doesn’t FEEL like Gideon) 😩. I hate when doubt and angst are used as a plot device.

Gah! I love Jill Redfield’s narrating (especially her “male voice”) SO much better than the new male narrator 😩

Am I the only one who loves it when a book is happening around the same time of the year I’m reading it? 😂

Ohmygosh, this is so painful right now 😭
