very irish, very slice of life, i’m a fan so far

i love fantasy so much yaaaarrrrgghhhh

i find it both highly pretentious at times but also extremely rich and layered at other times, i’m finding it difficult whether i actually enjoy reading this or not. it’s not a book to ‘enjoy’ but to feel of course but sometimes with books like these i just can’t get into it. and while starting off strong imo it has become more pretentious as of late

took a lil break but getting back into it, it’s just very sad and melancholic icl

finished part 1, absolutely loving it so far. it’s so funny and charming, loving the idea of the deluded hidalgo and his exploits so far. “and only someone with windmills on the brain could have failed to see that”
i’ve genuinely laughed out loud at this book more times than any other book already

just got to the god of hangovers, i love pratchett so much

first classic, excited for it

i have a good feeling about this, it’s gonna cook, i can feel it (please don’t be wrong)
