tad confusing on how the author tries to relate everyone in chapter 1. also wth was that last paragraph??? "he feared the world's future belonged not to mankind but plants"..... like ok ..... what about it then? humans are clowns who don't appreciate what the world has provided them with and continues to ruin everything they see. so really, let the plants live. what kind of dumbassery is this man (the character) on?
