Way better and far more twisted than I could have ever imagined. Can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.

It’s just started to pick up. So far it’s not terrible but it’s nowhere near gonna be in my top 10 KING books. The slog does have its purpose but it just takes forever to get to how it’s all connected. Hopefully this last 20% will be fulfilling. I see a 3 star rating to come.

If I’m honest, aside from the very few pages from the dogs point of view, it’s been a pretty boring slog fest. Hopefully the KING will ramp it up on the last half of the book.

Just felt like reading an old school King. No better time since the version I got today from my sister is the 2009 hodder/bca edition rainbow series hardcover. I definitely just jumped on this based solely on the cover and author.

This book is so hard to put down. So far it is a near perfect representation of stranger things mixed with Texas chainsaw massacre.

Just started tonight and this book grabs you from the first chapter and doesn’t let go. The random supernatural stuff going on really has me on edge.

As always, Cosby knows how to write. Every sentence adds vibrancy to the story. Even small details make everything so authentic. This one feels very “lit grit” so far and I’m loving every second of it.

Just finished Part 1. So far this seems like a more emotional and even mature book from Daniel J. Volpe. I was expecting a lot more extreme splatterpunk stuff within the first 35 pages but so far none has happened. Makes me excited because it shows he can still write a dang good book without throwing in all the grotesque stuff 24/7. But don’t get me wrong, I’m still expecting and wanting it sooner or later.
