In the end, Jackson is in a negative state and Jax, his son inherits his father's money. Amber murdered Jake Crawford and is convicted so she is in prison.

Daphne now has two older daughters who initially live their father Jackson who was in prison. Jackson schemes to hurt Daphne. Daphne schemes to get away from Jackson. Amber schemes against Jackson.

This is a set of four people who constantly scene tricks against each other. The original Amber from the first book, Daphne and Jackson return. The only new person is Daisy Ann.

She learned this rich rancher was a new widower and schemed to marry him. Too bad for her that all this money in his will went to a prior wife. She left with only $200,000 and then that is where the last book, the Last Mrs Parrish takes up.

I read about 15 pages in the book on 2/25.

Am er returns in this story just as annoying as ever. She is the one who was so money hungry she killed her last husband ina staged 'accident'.

This story started exactly where the original Last Mrs Parrish ended.

This story picks up with the ending of the last book.
