i love the undefined villain and hero. the vagueness of the characters’ category is what makes this book so special - every perspective makes you think the respective character is the ‘good’ one, but the next chapter proves you wrong. schwab, my love, you did a great job again

clasic autorilor bărbați din secolul XX; au senzația ca au acces nelimitat la sufletul femeii, că, prin așa-zisa superioritate pe care o simt față de ele, ating inferioritatea lor
se simte diferit când citesc perspectivele celor doi îndrăgostiți. nu-mi dau seama daca ăsta e scopul, sau doar e amprenta autorului care își folosește virilitatea ca pe un mod de a dezechilibra balanța dintre sexe

recitesc si cartea asta.
acum imi vine sa mi recitesc toate cartile

i realised how much of it was erased from my memory, but still there, somewhere in its alcoves. every time i get past something i forgot about, they rise from the corners of my mind.
this is why i love rereading books. there are the same emotions, but they never feel the same

im reading this book again. its been a long time

nu am mai citit de ceva timp fantasy, dar cred ca este bine sa ma intorc in timp la ceea ce, de fapt, mi a daruit pasiunea cititului

it is actually one of the most beautiful books i’ve ever read

i missed ari and dante so much. i just love them so much, but i don’t think i can say the same thing abt the book itself.
the first one was clearly better, but the second one doesn’t make me feel the same way. sometimes it says bullshit but nevertheless i like it.
